creating impact and going after a mission is one reason to start a company. along with this i want to build a mafia/avengers of people who make solving this journey more fun and who end up doing great things after this.
I don’t run my company atm but always looking to work w these kinda people rn or in the future
if you don’t fuck w any of these - we're probably not a good fit.
- ex/future founders only. you have started or want to start your own thing after this
- you're not taking this role cause you need a job or a paycheck. you want it cause you give a shit about the mission.
- extremist. you work hard and play hard.
- your life path until now has to be a slope.
- no one works for me. we all work with each other.
- we don’t give a shit about ur age or experience. if ur high agency + high ballsy + give a shit about our mission - ur good
- if you ever start a company and i don't see myself working for you - this isn't the right fit.
- openly call out anyone if they're wrong. we're here to build a generational company not play politics.
- no hierarchies.
- i would have failed at hiring if people show up not excited to work.
- screen for attitude mainly. people with the right attitude will pick up skills
- avoid people beyond 30. different priorities so harder to put in the late hours. exceptions exist so don't rule it out completely.
- my biggest fear is if people stop leaving to start their own thing. it would suck to lose someone exceptional but if they're leaving to start their own company i feel like i hired the right person. i'd do my best to invest and help them since i owe them that.
